SEO Audit
You’ve probably seen “free” SEO audit offers, but most of those are auto-generated reports that surface the obvious and miss the details. They don’t prioritise, they don’t explain, and they’re usually designed to sell you something else.
What I offer is different.
This is a hands-on, personalised SEO audit that digs deep into your site’s technical setup, content performance, search visibility, and real opportunities for growth. Whether you’re planning a relaunch, troubleshooting a traffic drop, or want clarity before investing more in SEO, this is your starting point.
Cut through the guesswork and find out what’s really going on with your website.
An SEO audit is one of the most powerful ways to kick off any website or content project, whether you’re planning a relaunch, recovering from a rankings drop, or just ready to grow.
This isn’t about running a generic tool and spitting out a 40-page PDF. It’s a hands-on, personalised deep dive into your site’s SEO health. I examine the technical foundations, content quality, keyword targeting, and how everything connects — so you can see what’s working, what’s not, and where the biggest opportunities lie.
What’s covered in your SEO website audit
Your SEO audit will be broken down into clearly explained sections — with bullet-pointed actions, plain non-technical insights, and a clear priority list so you’re not overwhelmed.
Here’s what I’ll look at:
🔧 Technical SEO
- Site architecture and internal linking
- Indexation and crawlability
- Core Web Vitals and site speed
- Mobile-friendliness and responsive issues
- Broken links, redirects, and status codes
- Structured data/schema markup
- Crawl errors and wasted crawl budget
✍️ On-page SEO & Content
- Content audit review of key page types
- Keyword alignment and content gaps
- Meta titles and descriptions
- Header structure and readability
- Thin, duplicate, or underperforming content
- Image optimisation and accessibility
🔗 Off-Page Signals & Visibility (Add-on Option)
- A high-level view of your site’s authority and off-page presence, including:
- Backlink profile overview
- Competitor benchmarking
- Branded vs non-branded search visibility
- Opportunities for content amplification and link building
Note: This is available as an optional add-on to the core SEO audit. The core SEO audit covers everything you can control directly — technical setup and on-page elements — providing a clear, high-impact action plan. Off-page / backlink analysis involves external factors, third-party platforms, and a more strategic scope. This helps keep the core audit practical, focused, and implementable.
🧰 Tools I use to complete your SEO audit
I combine expert analysis with industry-standard tools, giving you the depth of an agency audit, minus the fluff.
- PageSpeed Insights / GTmetrix – to test speed and Core Web Vitals
- Screaming Frog SEO Spider – to crawl your site
- Google Search Console – for indexing and issues
- GA4 – to understand performance and traffic behaviour
- Semrush – for keyword insights and competitor research
🔐 What I need access to
To get the clearest picture, I’ll usually request from you the following:
- Viewer or admin access to GA4
- Viewer or admin access to Google Search Console
- A login to your CMS (if needed)
- Access to your SEO tools if you already use Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar (or I’ll use mine)
📝 What you’ll get as part of your SEO site audit
- A custom audit document (not auto-generated)
- A prioritised action plan with quick wins and long-term fixes
- Loom video walkthrough (if you want it)
- The option for follow-up or implementation support
Whether you’re working with a dev, a content team, or figuring it out yourself, you’ll get a clear, practical action plan you can actually use. And if you’d like me to support with implementation — from fixes to follow-up checks — that’s something I offer too, as long as I’ve got the access I need.
